Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 21, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how RentVerge, operated by Merchsignal LLC (“RentVerge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information through the RentVerge website and Chrome extension.
What RentVerge does
RentVerge is a vehicle-rental market intelligence tool. The Chrome extension analyzes information displayed on Turo search and listing pages that you choose to scan so it can calculate and present market, pricing, trip, estimated profit, ROI, and related opportunity metrics.
Information we may collect or access
- Account and licensing data: information such as your email address, account identifier, plan, subscription or license status, and usage entitlement.
- Turo page data used for analysis: listing and search information visible on the Turo pages you choose to scan, such as vehicle year/make/model, displayed price, trip-related information, listing details, and search context needed to provide RentVerge features.
- Extension and service telemetry: extension version, usage-limit counters, feature state, errors, and technical diagnostics needed to operate, secure, and improve RentVerge.
- Support information: information you voluntarily send when requesting support or reporting a bug.
- Billing status: transaction, subscription, plan, and renewal status supplied by the payment provider. RentVerge does not need your full payment-card number.
How we use information
We use information only to provide and improve RentVerge, authenticate accounts, enforce plan limits, calculate the user-facing analysis you request, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, provide support, process subscription status, and comply with applicable law.
Chrome browsing and page access
RentVerge does not use Chrome access to build a profile of your unrelated browsing activity. Access to Turo page content is limited to what is required for the extension’s disclosed, user-facing market-analysis features. RentVerge is not intended to monitor unrelated websites.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell user data and do not use it for personalized advertising. Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate RentVerge, such as our website/backend hosting provider and the checkout or subscription provider shown when you purchase a plan. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect RentVerge or users from abuse or security threats, or as part of a lawful business transfer subject to applicable requirements.
Payments
Payments may be processed by Lemon Squeezy or another checkout provider identified at purchase. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy terms. RentVerge generally receives subscription and transaction status rather than full card details.
Local storage and retention
Some extension settings, scan state, and results may be stored locally in Chrome. Server-side account, licensing, subscription, usage-limit, security, and support records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legitimate business records. Turo page data is not used for unrelated tracking or advertising.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and modern encrypted transmission for data sent between the extension, website, and backend. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and deletion requests
You may uninstall the extension at any time and clear locally stored extension data through Chrome. To request deletion of eligible server-side account data, visit Data Deletion or email support@rentverge.com. Some billing, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records may be retained where required or permitted by law.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. RentVerge limits data access, use, transfer, and retention to what is necessary to provide or improve its disclosed single purpose and related operational needs.
Children
RentVerge is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children.
International users
RentVerge may be operated and supported from multiple jurisdictions. Where applicable, information may be processed in countries different from your own, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when RentVerge features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
